Voice หมายถึงวิธีพูด ซึ่งในไวยกรณ์ภาษาอังกฤษจะมี voice อยู่ 2 ประเภท คือ
1. Active Voice
2. Passive Voice
Active Voice
Active Voice - คือรูปกริยาซึ่งประธานเป็นผู้กระทำหรือแสดงกริยานั้นโดยตรง เช่น
I kick the dog. (คำแปล ก็คือ "ฉัน เตะ สุนัข" ซึ่ง ฉัน เป็นผู้กระทำการ เตะ สุนัขโดยตรง)

Passive Voice
Passive Voice - คือรูปกริยาซึ่งประธานเป็นผู้ถูกกระทำกริยานั้นโดยผู้อื่น
โดยโครงสร้างของประโยค ขอยกขึ้นมา ง่ายๆ ว่า [subject + verb to be + V3(past participle)+(Object)]
ประโยคตัวอย่าง
Active Voice - I kick the dog.
Passive Voice - The dog is kicked by me.
ทั้ง 2 ประโยค มีความหมายที่เหมือนกัน เพียงแต่ ประธาน ถูกเปลี่ยนจาก I เป็น The dog เท่านั้นเอง นอกจากนั้น คำกริยา kick ถูกเปลี่ยนไปเป็น kicked แล้ว ใน Passive Voice

Present Simple = S. + is , am , are + V.3 + by.....
Present Continuous = S. + is , am , are + being + V.3 + by....
Present Perfect = S. + has been , have been + V.3 + by....
Present Per. Conti. = S. + has been , have been + being + V.3 + by....
Past Simple = S. + was , were + v.3 + by....
Past Continuous = S. + was being , were being + v.3 + by....

Past Perfect = S. + had been + v.3 + by....
Past Per. Conti. = S. + had been being + v.3 + by....
Future Simple = S. + well be , shall be + v.3 + by.... Future Continuous = S. + will be , shall be + being + v.3 + by....
Future Perfect = S. + will have , shall have + been + v.3 + by....
Future Per. Conti. = S.+ will have been being, shall have been being +v.3+by....
